| MEDIA HOTEL |
Media representatives will stay at the Hotel “Chuvashia” and “Irina’s”. Accommodation rates are 120$ and 160$ for single and double rooms respectively, “Irina’s”: 65$ and 100$ respectively. There is a conference hall with the capacity of 40 seats on the 4th floor of the hotel “Chuvashia”. On the 1st floor there is a media center with all the necessary office equipment, Internet access and international telephone line.
The hotel will work around the clock. The assistance of volunteer interpreters (with the knowledge of English, German and French) will be provided at the information desk near the reception. There is also a souvenir shop, a hairdresser’s saloon, a luggage office as well as booking facilities on the ground floor. 24-hour bar service is available. During the competitions an exchange office will be open in the hotel. A regular shuttle bus service will be provided for the media in accordance with the agenda of the World Cup.
| ACCREDITATION |
Accreditation of journalists leads at the Main Accreditation Center situated on the 2nd floor of the Opera and Ballet Theater.

After accreditation and getting of accreditation cards Media representatives will be able to enter the zones indicated on the cards for the competition period. Accredited participants will be allowed to have free passage about the city by public transport and to attend museums and exhibitions.
| SOLEMN OPENING CEREMONY |
There will be equipped commentator cabins for Media representatives for 80 work places with tables and chairs at the “Olympisky” stadium during the Solemn Opening Ceremony. There are electrical outlets in the cabins. The cabins are situated above the central suite of the stadium.
There is access for the photojournalists to the tracks of the stadium (to the central part).
| PRESS-CENTER |
The Main Press Center is situated at the sport area (104 m2). Press Center provides 7 computers with Internet access, 3 printers, 3 faxes, and 3 copiers, international and intercity connection, 2 TV-monitors, 2 CIS-terminals, 1 announcement board. There are boxes for information materials and cloakroom for journalists in the working area. The special zone for press conferences is equipped with a capacity of 30 journalists.

| SUB PRESS CENTER AT THE CHUVASHIA HOTEL |
This Sub-Press Center is situated at the Chuvashia Hotel where the major part of accredited journalists will live. Sub-Press Center is equipped with computers with Internet access, telephones and fax. Start lists and Final protocols, daily programs and other information material will enter there.
Sub-Press Center open hours: May 8 - May 12, from 08:00 to 22:00.
| BRIEFING FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS AND TV-JOURNALISTS |
All working details of photojournalists and TV-journalists during World Cup will be announced on the special briefing, which will be held on May 10 at 09:00 on the embankment of Cheboksary Bay (before the start).
| PRESS TRIBUNE |
Places for writing journalists and commentators are situated on special tribune for Media 15-20 m apart from the start/finish line close to the VIP-tribune. Totally there are 98 seats and 40 working tables equipped with TV and CIS-monitors, 60 electrical outlets for PC local network and with Internet access.
| SPORTSCASTERS TENT |
Sportscasters tent is located 10 m apart from the start area near Mixed Zone. It is equipped with 2 working tables with Epson TV-monitor and 2 microphones.
| MIXED ZONE |
Mixed Zone is located between Sportscasters tent and Media tribune, fashioned with the World Cup banner, where all IAAF official sponsors are represented.
| PRESS CONFERENCES |
The Press Conference Hall is situated in Press Center and there are 30 seats. Press Conferences will be lead in English, Russian and French. Prizewinners of the competition will come to the Press Conferences after Award Ceremonies and before taking a procedure of doping-control.
| INFORMATION SUPPORT |
All information statistical data will be resolved by suitably boxes of the Press Center Work Area. All express information materials (final protocols, flash interviews, information during the competition, announcements etc.) will be distributed in the Press Suite and in the Press Center at the same time and also through the CIS system.
| FEEDING |
During the competition refreshment room with beverages and munchies will work in the Press Center.
| MOVEMENT OF BUSES FOR JOURNALISTS DURING THE COMPETITION |
According to action plan and transport scheme of World Cup the Media representatives will be served by buses and 2 microbuses.
